Asharqia Chamber is organizing the “Business Forum 2024...The Future of Business” activities next February
Emphasizing the importance of sustainability in business, the Eastern Chamber, represented by the Commercial Committee, is organizing (Business Forum 2024...The Future of Business), which is sponsored by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Eastern Province, on February 19, 2024 AD.
The forum aims to enhance the role of the private sector as a key partner in the national economy, and to introduce the pioneers of the commercial sector to the foundations and mechanisms of investment in a range of national projects undertaken by the country, and to provide a forward-looking reading about the commercial sector in the Kingdom in general, and in the Eastern Province in particular, as well as shedding light. On the latest regulatory and procedural developments in the sector, and the investment opportunities available in it.
The head of the Asharqia Chamber Commercial Committee, Hani bin Hassan Al-Afaleq, said that the forum comes at a time when the commercial sector is witnessing a major transformation, whether with regard to improving the business environment and facilitating the business journey, or with regard to the significant growth in the number of businesses. According to the Ministry of Commerce, the total number of existing commercial registrations reached more than 1,350,000 commercial registrations in the Kingdom, pointing out the importance of the sector as the lifeblood of countries’ economies and the true indicator of growth.
Al-Afaleq stressed that the forum, through the participants and the papers presented in it, will address national trends to support the economic and commercial sectors, the future vision of the sector and how to keep up with its goals. He pointed out that the forum represents one of the platforms that the Asharqia Chamber is pushing for in order to enhance ways of cooperation and communication between the relevant authorities and pioneers. Commercial work among the people of the region, in addition to raising their awareness of the investment opportunities provided by the sector in light of the current dynamic environment that the national economy is experiencing in all sectors, as well as raising awareness of successful international experiences in addressing the challenges of the sector and extracting appropriate mechanisms from them.
Al-Afaliq pointed out that the Kingdom now has a strong and growing economy in all sectors, the most important of which is the commercial sector, whose circle of activities has grown, saying: This growth is linked to the state of economic mobility and the various projects that the country is witnessing, and the unlimited support of the wise leadership, which has been most effective. The impact on protecting the national economy from global crises.
